Jack's Bull Creek

When giving thanks comes hard for you,
And things are grim and hope runs thin,
Recall:
Despair's a door to pass on through,
and not a home for living in.
When thanksgiving fills your cup,
And those you love are all about,
Look at your blessings, count them up,
and give back something to the world
without.

Barton's Portal

Barton's Portal | 13" x 13" oil on panel with angle iron floating frame | Flanegan | sold
At Bar Ten Creek Ranch, the early morning sun peaks over a bluff and onto a tree-lined fence. A window of highlights frame Barton Creek flowing below and it is a stunning sight to witness.

The 2015 Plein Air Austin Exhibit is showing at the Corridor of Art at 700 Lavaca Street, downtown Austin. 'Barton's Portal' and 'Mystic', along with 50 other works painted on location, will be exhibited through 2 November. Our opening is 24 September, 4-6p - swing by if you're in town!
